We're currently seeking a highly motivated Deputy Building Inspector located in Los Angeles, CA .
Overview:
The Deputy Building Inspector will provide special inspection support for the LAWA Quality Assurance and Construction Inspection Division across multiple projects within LAWA's Capital Improvement Program. This role requires knowledge of multiple code requirements, effective communication, and time management. Candidates must possess valid Los Angeles City Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) Deputy Licenses in Concrete Construction, Spray-Applied Fireproofing, Drilled-in-Anchors/Seismic Resistance, and Steel Construction. Possession of other deputy licenses is preferred. Proof of Cal-OSHA 30-hr training within the last 4 years prior to assignment. Successful candidates must have LAWA SIDA badge prior to official start of work. Must be able to work any assigned shift - day, swing, or night - as required to meet the contractor's construction schedule.
