Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government's Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator is responsible performing all operating functions, analytical testing, general maintenance functions, housekeeping, and record keeping of the facilities. In this role, the incumbent will be expected perform tasks such as grit removal, preparation, primary sedimentation, activated biofiltration, extended aeration, chemical coagulation, final sedimentation, chlorination, dechlorination, and anaerobic sludge digestion.
