Joint Trench/Underground Dry Utilities Operator

OPERATORS: Must be able to operate heavy construction equipment such as backhoes, excavators and loaders in a safe manner Have experience in digging over/under and around live gas, electric, phone, fiber, water and sewer lines. Experience with joint trench is desired. ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: Must pass DOT drug test Must have a valid California Drivers License and safe driving history Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted Must be able to reach, grasp, pull, push, and use hands for fine manipulation and be able to use a variety of hand tools Must be able to read and fully understand grade stakes Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring device Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily OT when necessary All employees must be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
