Wastewater Operator

The Town of Bennington's Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Wastewater Operator.

This position involves performance of duties in the operations of a secondary wastewater treatment plant and maintenance of the collection system. Qualifications include, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent (technical college desired), a Grade 1 Vermont Wastewater Certification or the ability to obtain one within 24 months following date of hire. This position pays an hourly rate of pay range of $29.64 to $31.14 and requires a valid driver's license maintained in good standing with 2 years driving experience. A Commercial Driver's license, Class B must be obtained within six (6) months of employment. The Town will assist with education.
