IT Field Service Technician

Location: Akron, OH 44333

Pay Rate: $20.00/HR W2, plus travel expenses (Increase to $22.00/HR upon permanent hire)

Hours: M-F, 9am-6pm, On-call rotation

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Description:

The Field Tech will travel around to Compucom client sites in their assigned area of the Akron service area - looking for a tech to cover northwest Akron

Hardware Break Fix work

Must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA's)

Technician will travel to each location on route

Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer

Works under general supervision

Qualifications:

Must live within 20 miles of the 44333 zip code

A+ Certification

Experience supporting Desktops, Laptops, Printers, POS machine

3 years plus with customer service experience

Reliable Transportation (This is a driving position - reimbursed accordingly)

Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments

Can lift up to 50lbs
