Field Service Technician

Dayton, OH - Up to 75% Travel

Key Requirements:

Associates preferred or technical trade school certification

Install, commission, test, perform maintenance, troubleshoot high power distribution equipment (500kVA to 500MVA)

3+ years of electrical-mechanical troubleshooting

Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and test equipment

Familiar with ANSI/IEEE transformer standards

Client facing including night and weekend travel, 50-75%

Perform oil sampling, analysis, processing (dry-out) and replacement

Conduct electrical testing (e.g., insulation resistance, TTR, winding resistance, power factor and SFRA)

Respond to emergency service calls, provide complete and accurate documentation

Collaborate with other teams inside and outside of the organization and ensure quality

OSHA 10/30 Certification

Required:

Valid driver's license (motor vehicle report) and clean driving record

Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or heights
