Clark Regional Wastewater District is seeking an experienced Engineer to serve as the Engineering Program Manager to lead a team of professional staff and manage the operations of an assigned program area.
Great opportunity to join a professional, community-oriented and growing utility located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Clark County, Washington.
Ideal candidate will possess:
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer, Civil, in the State of Washington
- 7 years of progressively responsible engineering experience, including design, project management, and program management
- 2 years of supervisory experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages program and project operations to ensure compliance with department goals and applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Provide leadership to assigned staff, prioritizing and assigning work, and monitoring work progress
- Establish and maintain professional, effective relations with stakeholders
- Manages the development of design and technical specifications
- Review and approve plans, specifications, drawings, and other technical documents; prepare summaries of design deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions; ensure the accuracy of work products
- Develop complex funding and participation agreements with agencies, property owners, developers, and contractors
- Provides professional customer service in varied situations and circumstances
- Manages the development and delivery of project outreach plans, coordinates and facilitates open houses, and attends public hearings
- Involves other people and groups of people in problem-solving and decision-making, aligning their interests with the Districts
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $10,502 to $13,730 per month
