Datacenter Electrical Technician - Level 1 Location: Miami, FL (On-site)
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Languages: English & Spanish required Job Summary We are seeking an entry-level Electrician Technician to support day-to-day operations of a data center facility. This role assists with maintaining electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations. Ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of hands-on experience looking to grow in a critical facilities environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems
• Support critical power systems including generators, switchgear, UPS, and PDUs
• Perform basic troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations as needed
• Follow safety procedures and assist with compliance related to NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards
• Work with vendors and contractors under supervision
• Complete maintenance logs, reports, and documentation
• Participate in training and ongoing learning related to data center operations

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in electrical, facilities, or critical infrastructure environments
• Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems and mechanical equipment
• Ability to use hand tools and basic diagnostic tools
• Able to read basic schematics or drawings
• Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow procedures
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
