Are you a hands-on technician who thrives on solving complex mechanical challenges and working independently? At New Way Trucks, we're looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to deliver top-tier service and support to our customers and dealer network across your assigned territory.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty truck systems in the field
  • Provide on-site technical support to customers, dealers, and internal teams
  • Inspect equipment for maintenance, warranty, and upgrade needs
  • Identify recurring issues and help implement preventative solutions
  • Support dealer training, product demonstrations, and service education
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specs
  • Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently
  • Build lasting relationships through professional, customer-first service

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanic or field service technician
  • Strong background in heavy-duty equipment or truck repair
  • Experience with hydraulics, pumps, valves, and electrical systems
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
  • Comfortable using diagnostic tools and technology
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
