Summary:

The Field Service Technician will repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment, both in-shop and in the field; also, system troubleshooting, field alignment and equipment start-up, maintain company vehicles and shop equipment, accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include In-field Repair and Replacement of:

  • Remove and Replace Pumps and Motors
  • Laser Alignment of Pumps and Motors
  • Vibration analysis preferred
  • Start-ups & troubleshooting
  • Mechanical Seal Changes
  • API and ANSI Pumps
  • Centrifugal and Plunger Pumps
  • Must be proficient with precision measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of dynamic balancing a plus

Qualifications of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Must possess a minimum of 3-7 years experience working in the field in pump rebuilding
  • Must be flexible, and willing to work both in the field, as well as in a shop environment
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of rebuilding centrifugal pumping equipment
  • Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines

Additional information -

  • Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Working Conditions: Working in potential weather situations, rain/snow
  • Training/Certifications: Ability to perform laser alignments and ability to take vibration readings preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Shift Time/Overtime: First Shift with Overtime as required
  • Travel: Most job sites are about an hour drive from Denver. Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
