Field Service Engineer

Growing manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to add to their team in the Corona, CA area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of field service experience doing troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical equipment and an Associates degree or equivalent certificate. Willingness to travel weekly required. No weekends or on-call. Excellent benefits, company vehicle and PTO!

responsibilities:

• Perform installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades, calibration and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  
  
• Travel throughout a territory including California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington and Oregon
  
  
• Customer interaction, including promoting service contracts
  
  
• Maintain service inventory

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in electronics or similar; or certificate or military experience
  
  
• At least 2 years of field service experience with an electromechanical focus
  
  
• Electronic trouble-shooting skills, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, and a strong mechanical aptitude
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret Electronic Schematics and Wiring Diagrams, and Pneumatic and Hydraulic
  
  Diagrams
  
  
• Ability to lift and transport 80 pounds
  
  
• Ability to travel overnight as required
