Job Responsibilities Support solid waste engineering projects focused on landfill and landfill gas system permitting and design
Support solid waste facility permitting, design, construction, operation, monitoring, and compliance activities
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications
Assist with environmental control system infrastructure permitting and design
Perform engineering analysis and feasibility studies
Conduct construction oversight and construction quality assurance activities
Complete field sampling, testing, inspections, surveys, and data gathering
Prepare CAD drawings, site plans, facility diagrams, and technical reports
Support air quality permitting and compliance projects
Apply engineering and scientific principles to solid waste assignments and related environmental fields
Make decisions on engineering or scientific problems, methods, and work coordination
Represent project teams at meetings and conferences
Support business development through proposal preparation, client meetings, and industry events
Provide technical guidance to junior staff
Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and obtain supervisory approval for proposed plans or projects
