Candidates must be located in Phoenix

The Garment Field Service Technician is responsible for providing both onsite and remote service for Cintas apparel dispensing machines as needs arise. Additionally, the technician may assist with installations within their assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide onsite and remote service for Cintas apparel dispensing machines within assigned territory, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, network verification, and software upgrades and installations.
  • Be available for emergency service calls during nights and weekends (rare).
  • Coordinate visits with the Field Service Coordinator, Cintas service location partners, and end customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Cintas partners and end customers.
  • Execute installation of apparel dispensing machines, including unloading, reassembly, network verification, and final checkout when within territory.
  • Provide onsite training to Cintas MAMs, SSRs, and end users.
  • Prepare and submit service logs and expense reports for travel expenses in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in documentation and reporting in systems such as Salesforce, MaintainX and Outlook.
  • Maintain company-provided equipment and inventory in a safe and organized manner.
  • Follow all customer site safety requirements and Cortex safety policies.
  • Complete all required documentation, time reporting, and expense reporting accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Employment Classification: Part-Time: Flexible hours, maximum 30 hours per week.

Availability: This position requires flexibility to accept and perform service assignments within the assigned territory, typically within 48 hours of notification, subject to employee availability and scheduling.

Travel Requirements: Travel within assigned territory as service needs arise, with the majority of the trips not requiring overnight stays. Some jobs may require longer stays. (Rare)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Basic understanding of computer operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both within the team and with customers.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required; technical diploma/degree preferred.
  • Field service experience is strongly preferred

Language Skills: Proficient in verbal and written English.

Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic skills.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to identify and quickly solve work process problems.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Valid State-Issued Driver's License

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently lift, push, pull, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance or mechanical lifting devices.
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
