Join the world's largest renewable energy construction company as a Solar Project Manager within the Early-Stage Engineering & Construction (E&C) team. This role is responsible for managing utility-scale solar projects through the pre-construction phase, ensuring projects are technically feasible, financially viable, commercially supported, and ready for execution by the construction team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of project management, construction, engineering, financial analysis, and stakeholder management experience within the renewable energy or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead assigned solar projects through the early-stage development and pre-construction lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk mitigation, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze technical, financial, and project performance data to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate engineering, permitting, procurement, contractors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support contract negotiations, budget approvals, and development of construction execution plans.
  • Monitor project compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review contractor performance, construction readiness, payment requests, and project deliverables.
  • Prepare project status reports and present updates to leadership and project management teams.
  • Facilitate pre-bid, pre-construction, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Drive issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 11 15 years of experience managing large-scale construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, or utility projects.
  • Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, scope control, and contractor management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Renewable Energy, Solar, Wind, or Power Generation experience.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of construction execution, permitting, engineering coordination, and contract administration.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
