Project Manager – Capital Projects & Construction (Onsite)

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite – Local Candidates Preferred)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital facilities and construction projects within a highly regulated utility/power generation environment. The selected candidate will oversee equipment upgrades, facility modifications, infrastructure improvements, long-term planning initiatives, and capital investment projects ranging from $100K to multi-million-dollar budgets.

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through execution and closeout.
• Lead capital improvement, facility upgrade, and construction-related projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, engineering teams, contractors, and operations personnel.
• Monitor project performance, costs, and schedule variances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

• 5–7+ years of Project Management experience in facilities, construction, utilities, power generation, industrial, or regulated environments.
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $1M+.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, project controls, and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK methodologies and Waterfall/Predictive project delivery approaches.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug/alcohol testing requirements.

• Experience within utility, energy, power generation, or highly regulated industries.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects and infrastructure improvements.

• Onsite position requiring regular presence at project locations.
• Long-term contract opportunity with potential for extension.
• Candidates must be able to meet all site access and security requirements.
