Transmission Project Manager (Remote Quarterly Travel to Wisconsin)
A growing infrastructure and energy services firm is seeking a Transmission Project Manager to support electric transmission projects across regulated utility environments. This role is responsible for coordinating engineering, construction, and project teams to ensure transmission infrastructure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
This position is primarily remote, with quarterly travel required to Wisconsin for project reviews, stakeholder meetings, and site coordination.
All applicants MUST HAVE: Hands On current experience supporting and managing electrical (utility) transmission and substation infrastructure projects
What You Will Do
Manage electric transmission infrastructure projects from planning through execution and closeout
Coordinate engineering teams, contractors, and utility stakeholders
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and key milestones
Support engineering design coordination and construction planning activities
Identify and manage project risks, scope changes, and operational challenges
Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication across stakeholders
Track project performance and provide regular project status reporting
Ensure compliance with utility standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or related discipline)
Minimum 8 years of experience in the electric utility industry
Experience supporting or managing transmission infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of transmission systems and utility operations
Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel quarterly to Wisconsin
Preferred Experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with transmission line or substation capital projects
Experience working with utilities, engineering firms, or EPC contractors
Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
