- Execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.
- Create and maintain a safe working environment and culture within the organization.
- Take care of company property.
- Troubleshoot systems for mechanical and electrical equipment conditions.
- Identify and remedy safety issues with both company and customer-owned equipment.
- Directly interface with customers, potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies.
- Ensure the readiness of power equipment and track/upkeep equipment inventory.
- Perform hands-on exercising and turning of water valves and fire hydrants using hand and power tools.
- Conduct general small engine maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- Technical experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including smart devices.
- Customer service experience.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
- Able to pass a credit check.
- Able to obtain a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements.
- Able to operate a company vehicle and meet driver requirements.
- Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
- Must be able to walk, write, and type frequently.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs, bend, carry, reach, push, and pull occasionally.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
- May work indoors and outdoors, with exposure to extreme temperatures and noise levels where hearing protection is required.
- May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
- Some travel to other locations, meetings, and/or seminars is required.
- 1-3 years of experience.
