Sanitation Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Sanitation Technician for a food and beverage production facility in Oxnard, CA. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and compliant production environments and wants to be part of a team that supports food safety, quality, and operational excellence.

As a Sanitation Technician, you will help ensure production equipment, processing areas, and warehouse spaces are properly cleaned and sanitized using approved chemicals and established procedures. Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize food production and processing equipment using approved chemicals and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of production areas, warehouse areas, floors, walls, doors, and other facility infrastructure according to sanitation schedules.
- Follow company policies, GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and food safety requirements at all times.
- Support proper waste management throughout the facility to help maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Refill paper towels, soap, sanitizer, and other sanitation supplies at designated stations.
- Complete sanitation documentation accurately, clearly, and on time.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $19 to $22 per hour.
- Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Assignment Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Oxnard, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Clean and sanitize production equipment, processing areas, and facility spaces.
- Follow GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, sanitation schedules, and food safety procedures.
- Maintain proper waste management and restock sanitation supplies.
- Complete required sanitation and cleaning documentation accurately.

- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred or related hands-on experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely use approved cleaning chemicals and sanitation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality standards.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required documentation legibly.
- Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to report food safety, quality, or suspicious activity concerns to a supervisor, QA, or management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous sanitation experience in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, personal care manufacturing, or a similar regulated production environment.
- Familiarity with GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and sanitation documentation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced food production or processing facility.
