We are looking for a Program Manager New Hire Experience & Workforce Readiness. This position will be remote with occasional travel to Wendell, NC.

This role leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end onboarding and workforce readiness experience for newly hired field employees. You will build and scale a structured onboarding program that supports employees from offer acceptance through early tenure, ensuring they are safe, productive, technically capable, and connected to the organization.

You will partner cross-functionally to establish standardized processes, drive operational consistency, and enhance the employee experience while improving time-to-productivity and retention.

Youll make a difference by:

  • Leading the design and implementation of a standardized, end-to-end onboarding and workforce readiness program, including milestones, stage gates, and accountability across the employee lifecycle
  • Building scalable onboarding processes, workflows, governance models, dashboards, and communication cadences while owning the candidate and new hire experience end-to-end
  • Driving cross-functional coordination across Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Hiring Managers, Training, EHS, Operations, and workforce planning teams to align onboarding with hiring demand and field readiness
  • Leading and developing a team of onboarding and training professionals, with initial scope including onboarding coordination and future management of technical trainers and support roles
  • Overseeing onboarding content, training documentation, certifications, and readiness materials to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence
  • Establishing and tracking onboarding KPIs such as time-to-productivity, training completion, safety certification, readiness metrics, and new hire retention
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions using automation, digital workflows, analytics, and modeling integration of AI in daily workflows to support a future-ready workforce

Youll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with the following:
    • Program management, onboarding, training operations, workforce development, or related leadership experience
    • Leading cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
    • Building or transforming scalable operational processes
    • Organizational leadership and team management
    • Managing onboarding programs, training coordination, or workforce readiness initiatives
  • Up to 25% travel required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, HR, Engineering, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Experience in industrial, field service, manufacturing, construction, or commissioning environments
  • Experience scaling onboarding or training programs in high-growth or distributed workforce environments
  • Familiarity with technical training environments, workforce readiness programs, or field-based onboarding models
  • Experience with workforce analytics, onboarding systems, learning management systems, or automation tools, including tools such as Power BI and Salesforce

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $175,644 annually with a target incentive of 5-10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
