Project Manager

Description

Actalent's client in Vancouver is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will oversee conveyance water/wastewater projects and be the main point of contact for creating and signing off on engineering designs involving site layout development, hydraulics calculations, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and storage tanks and impoundment projects in British Columbia and assist with business development activities. The client's water services have spanned the areas of design and construction administration of drinking water, wastewater, water resources, storm water, environmental, master planning studies and modeling.

TOP 5 DUTIES:

- Proactive approach, sense of ownership over contract with Metro Vancouver work

- Managing team and stakeholders to hold accountable to contract scope

- Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders, eloquent and nuanced in communication (doesn't fill the room)

- Coordinating with EOR on technical specifications and drawings

- Site visits as required to manage construction progress and activities

FROM JD:

Managing and serving as the Project Manager on major British Columbia water conveyance projects.

Providing technical guidance, leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our water services design capabilities.

Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed.

Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables.

Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing meeting clients in the Southern California region.

Participation in professional societies relevant to the industry.

Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients organizations.

The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $67.31/hr.
