Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Join a dynamic and innovative team as a Machine Operator where you will play a vital role in the production of precision stainless and specialty alloy tubing products. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to diverse industries such as power generation, renewable energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, food and dairy, beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
Operate the Mill machine to bend metal into pipe form.
Change out metal rolls every 2-12 hours as needed.
Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical repairs, quality checks, and adjustments on machinery.
Understand basic 3-phase, 480-volt electrical systems to determine when to call for major repairs.
Perform minor tack welding to connect metal strips, with training provided.
Conduct basic preventative maintenance on machinery.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting and running machinery for at least 2 years.
Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in machining, maintenance, mechanics, or fabrication.
Capability to think creatively and solve problems.
2 years of maintenance and welding/fabrication experience is preferred.

Work Environment
Work on the D shift, which runs Friday through Sunday, from 5pm to 5am. The plant operates as a non-union shop with approximately 100 employees across four shifts. Experience a safe and friendly workplace where training can last between 3-6 months, allowing you to develop your skills thoroughly.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
