Abbott Nutrition in Casa Grande, AZ is hiring for our new Waste Water Treatment facility! We are seeking an Industrial Pretreatment Wastewater Operator to join our team.

What Youll Work On

• Maintain, repair and service facility systems.

• Operate IPP equipment and related control systems; ie, SBR, Influent EQ, Sludge, Dewatering Press, Sludge Removal, Chemical Feed

• Monitor control system and make adjustments as needed to maintain compliance with the discharge permit issued by the City of Casa Grande

• Observe variations in operating conditions, interprets lab test results, along with current and historical data to maintain proper control of the system

• Maintain log of operations and record all lab data and meter and gauge readings.

Youll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and one year experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment Operator with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality or Reciprocity from another state

• Mechanical/electrical technical degree

Shift

• Day shift for 3-6 months for training; Upon training completion, the position will transition to a rotating shift schedule, working four 10-hour shifts Monday through Sunday shift schedule will rotate through days and off-shift

The base pay for this position is $24.50 $49.00 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
