Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As a Field Service Technician, you'll bring your expertise directly to the customer:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair power generation and electrical systems
- Service engines, generators, switchgear, and related equipment
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Perform maintenance, testing, and system adjustments
- Install, repair, and support critical power systems at customer sites
- Complete service documentation and inspection reports
- Manage your service calls and work independently in the field
- Respond to occasional after-hours or emergency service needs
Qualifications
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience with power generation, electrical systems, or engine systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Experience troubleshooting generators, engines, or power equipment
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- Proven ability to work independently in the field
- Strong customer service mindset
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Your own tools
(CAT experience, CDL, or technical degree are a plus)
